Each state in India has a different code and you would have noticed this easily on the number plates of the vehicle. To explain this better, we will take an example. For example, if you notice a car registered in Delhi, you will notice that the registration number of the car starts with DL. Similarly, you will notice the registration number starting with MP for the car registered in Madhya Pradesh.
